I had a good workout week last week, but I was reading how much time people who want to lose more weight invest in cardio, so my goal is to get in at least 30 mins. of cardio per day (6 days-off Sunday). Most days I know I'll do more, but it's hard to tell what kind of HKD class we'll have. Sometimes we work on kicks the whole hour, definitely good cardio, but sometimes we have to go through forms or basic stuff if we have white or yellow belts so it's a bit less intense.

I'm going with cardio workouts too Lorie-- though I think your endurance is higher than mine. I know we can reach these personal goals :-)

I can't believe I'm going to choose this for my personal challenge because I could pick something I know I can do. Which I know I can do this but will I?

I'm going to try for three trips to the rec. Hoping to do 3 mile walk each time.

Let's do this Gretchen-- though I will admit....didn't get a workout in yesterday. Did you get to the rec center??

Lorie-- how did you do?

Anyone else joining us??

Ohmigosh, the minute one sets a goal, it seems there must be a challenge presented. I wrote on my little calendar where I journal food/fitness, that I would do 45 min. last night after work. But a friend came by my office about 4:30. I thought we'd just talk a minute, but she was very down, which is unlike her, so we went for coffee after work.

I did get my 45 mins. of cardio in, but not too much weight work. I did a cardio boot camp DVD thing (jogging in place, kicks, punches, plyometrics...), and it kicked my butt. I think that having started running has helped my endurance, but I have a way to go, IG.

You are not gonna believe this! I got home from work. Got dressed in my work out clothes. Made sure I had my bottle of water. Took my daughter to taekwon do and then headed to the rec. Was thrilled hardly any cars there. Meaning hopefully I'll have the place to myself.

The stupid rec. was closed because they are resurfacing the gym floors. uuuugghhh!!!!
