I purchased Slim in 6 a while ago - I can't belive you actually have to exercise to make it work, I thought just buying it was enough ;). Any way I misplaced the information books that came with the dvds, but after a good room cleaning I found them. I finished reading them Friday and decided to take the before photos. Well, all I have to say is who ever invented the digital camera should be made a saint. I would of died if I had to pick them up a the one hour photo place. That scene from Calender Girls stands out.

I now have concrete proof I am way out of shape and need to loose more than a few pounds. I resemble a large beach ball with 4 stumps attached. Not pretty but definatly a motivating experience.

So, I am working on a life plan. My own healthy diet (since I can't stick to a program any more)and an exercise routine I can do any where.

You can do this. Sounds like you've made up your mind to step it up. I think that is a huge key. Deciding to REALLY make a commitment to at least one aspect of your health is a step in the right direction. It may take some time to figure out what works for you but just keep trying to find it.


I'm only about half way through Unstoppable Women by Cynthia Kersey it's about setting and achieving goals and I do recommend it. It seems kind of simple at first but it's creating those basic habits that move us forward. For myself I had to start at the emotional level and get past some of things

Well, I know Sniffle Sally and I do SI6 also. We both think it was invented by the devil himself. However, for different reasons. lol.

I tookthe before photo once before, but never really looked at it again. seeing as how i have 6 weeks until hawaii. maybe I should one before, one after. and see if anything has changed. i don't do it as religiously as it says you should, that's for sure, but I'm going to start incorporating running if I can WAKE MY BUTT UP!!! lol.

Good luck, and dont be so hard on yourself. that's what makes us quit.

Thanks for all the encouragement. I will let you know how i am doing. It will be a slow start. I know if i start out 6 days a week i will quit. So slow is how I am going. And food wise if i make too many changes i am ready to eat anything in site.
