Exercise, what's that?

Just kidding.

Okay ladies. I wore my pedometer on Saturday when I played golf. The course was about 5600 yards. From the time I left my house, to the time I got home (driving straight there and back), I walked a total of 19,750 steps. Holy cow, huh!!!! Total that day, was 23,000 steps. And they say to get in 10,000 a day. :) On WW, I made an extra 5 points. Which was good, cuz I had Mexican food that night.

I worked out Tuesday, didn't last night. Seriously, I woke up this morning to work out, I do NOT know how ppl do that, cuz I didn't make it. I decided instead, to workout at my apt complex's gym AFTER I pick up K. He can come or not, but I'm running. Tonight is my WW weigh-in, so let's hope for another 1.5lbs loss, cuz I need to lose at a consistent rate so I can fit in my summer clothes for Hawaii in 6 weeks.

AUgh! You'd think I'd WANT to work out. But nope. I'm lazy. lol.

So, back to the main question....exercise, what's that?

hehehe. btw, I'm lurking, but there are many of you who are inspirations to me. Keep posting your struggles and accomplishements. IT makes me feel less alone in this "lifestyle change".

That is indeed a lot of steps. I guess my boyfriend is right about golf being real exercise when he walks instead of taking the cart. But if I don't tell him about your steps count, I can still tease him. Anyway, good for you.

And it is a struggle, the lifestyle change, isn't it though. BF was over for a while last evening, and when he left, I so didn't feel like exercising. I told myself that as soon as he left, I would put on my workout clothes and shoes and just get to it. I did, but I have the blessing of being a real creature of habit, so I would have felt "off schedule" if I hadn't.

Now tonight is a different story. I will exercise, but I am trying to convince myself not to take the easy way out and skip actually going to the track to run/walk. It's not supposed to rain 'til later, so I guess I'd better go tonight, especially since I ate pizza at lunch (I ate a salad too though).

Keep getting those steps in.

Sounds good. I already told K if he wnated to join me to pack some workout clothes, otherwise, I'm going to run alone. He is thinking of doing one or two 5k's by the end of the year, so i need to start running more. not just aerobics.

So, I"ll see ya later!

oh, so what you're saying is I should golf everyday. :) Wish I could walk like that all the time, but it's like 5 hours worth. lOL.

and now you can see why I gained so much weight during the winter, when I wasn't playing. lol

Hahaha!!! Totally hear ya. I never thought golf was a "sport" either. And definiltey not exercise. However, I push my cart, bf's dad and Uncle CARRY theirs. I feel old. I barely can make the 18 while PUSHING. And I'm normally huffing and puffing after a big hill. lol. so sad.

maybe when you're feeling sweet one day you can tell bf about my steps. although remmeber, that is me goign in ALL directions looking for the dang ball. LOL. j/k.

oh, i told myself to work out after bf left last weekend. um, yeah, didn't happen. and i'm a creature of habit too. that's why i DON'T work out. LOL. need to MAKE it a habit, so i will feel weird.

Well, I made it to the park and did 2 miles down there. Again I've had a busy day, and am about to head to the bar (yes to undo all that walking) as I heard a friend of mine is leaving island and is working his last shift tonight :-(

How did your run go??

You are too funny. It's only 4:40 here, so I'm at work until 5:30, then have my WW meeting until 6:30, then I have to go get K, puts me around 7:30 or so, and then do my run. lol. I'll post in about 5-6 hours. LOL.

How did what go? {blush}

After driving 60 miles, I was not in the mood to work out. HOWEVER, it's 7am where I am now, and I'm going to go work out as soon as I'm done emailing my boss. :)
