follow up - one month "check in"

Just thought I'd post a little follow up. I posted last week about "how long for metabolism to increase?". I met with my trainer today and according to the scale at the gym, I've lost 3 pounds (according to mine at home, I've lost 3.5, so pretty close) and I've lost 2.4% body fat in a month, putting me in the "ideal" range for my age. Ha! I'm far from ideal! :-) But I was happy with that fat loss, considering that most of the weight I've lost has obviously been fat! Of course, today was terrible timing for a weigh-in since my monthly visitor is due any minute now so I'm probably retaining a pound or two of water weight...
My trainer is very happy with my slow loss and said she wants to meet in another 2 weeks and take another weight and body fat measurement. She says a lot of the time, it takes 4-6 weeks for your metabolism to kick in.
So, can I go eat a big serving of chocolate now? :-)

Good job Katie!!.....but do stay away from that big serving of chocolate...you'll only kick yourself in the morning, lol! Thanks for stopping back in and letting us know how things are going!
