QOTW- Vacations...

Not that I'm rubbing it in or anything....but seeing as I get my 'summer vacation' next week these questions came to mind:

1. What's your favorite thing about being on vacation (besides the obvious of not having to go to work)?

2. Do you enjoy well planned trips, or spur of the moment ones?

3. When on vacation do you stick to your exercise/eating plan?

4. Where's the best/most exciting

IG,

If you want a cool farmers market go to Union Square on Saturday. If you miss that across from Union Square is Whole Food a grocery store with amazing produce. But being from the islands that may not be to impressive. I was impressed.

Shopping in the Village. way cool.

LOL. Of course I would point it out, mostly cuz my cousin who I visit is a teacher, so I go on vacation, while she's BEEN on break. I leave and she's STILL on break. lol. I'm not even sure if her son will be with us at all, but I hope not, mostly because she just moved into a studio apt. lol. Not enough room.

Ah, Shelly. Actually, she's a turtle. But I will probably be bringing her along. :) Seems like the thing to do, y'know. lol.

Also, my cuz is very "go with the flow" laid back kind of girl. So, planning was kinda not the idea the first time I went. And I ACTUALLY HAD A BLAST!!! So, the next time, we planned a few things, like snorkeling (which btw, got cancelled twice ON THE WAY THERE, cuz we got sidetracked), or seeing a show/performer. That's about it. It's so much more fun that way. We normally just ended up at the beach. lol.

It's harder to do, when you've never been to the place before, because you want to see EVERYTHINg, but I've been there enough, that I don't NEED to see anything. lol. So, trust me, if I went somewhere else, I'd prolly plan a lto more.

IG,

I saw you're going to Ireland, now, I know you lived there, were you born there? Or raised there? Or just lived there for awhile? Just wondering....:) YOu world travelers. I don't even have a passport.

Just curious, what is your nationality? Here there? Everywhere? lol

OHMIGOD!!! Who was it here that said they're going to Sea World? I have been wanting to go, so I looked up the prices. I can NOT BELIEVE it's now FIFTY BUCKS to get in (for an adult). WTF!!!

Am I FEEDING the fish, or what?

OK-- to answer your questions...

Yes, I was born in Ireland-- and raised there. It was only after I'd finished my Montessori training that I moved; here!

And I'm still Irish ;-)

Do you mean are you feeding the fish-- or are you the fish food?? LOL I agree the prices for those "parks" nowadays is ludicrous!!
