During one of my late nights ... I saw an infomercial about Power 90. Anyone heard of it? I'm looking for some honest feedback.

Being "in my 30's" I've noticed the gradual spread of my waistline, and I'm not happy about it!! I've always been thin and my weight has never been an issue but I'm just not happy about my body. I belong to a gym but I just can't get motivated to go. I thought maybe if I tried something (structured) at home that might work. I'm not much for diets but I did try The South Beach Diet. After 4 weeks of following it faithfully, I lost 1/2 lb.!! Yes ... that left me VERY discouraged. I have continued to follow the diet because I like the idea of eating healthy.

So, any info on Power 90? Any other suggestions?

Thanks for your help!!

Hi there, and welcome! I agree with Miranda-- you will find lots of supportive people here, and very encouraging too. We actually have a "Challenge" going on at the moment, which you are free to join us in. Basically we are making our way to a weeks worth of exercise (minute wise) before the end of the month. So- the more the merrier....it might just be a way of getting you to the gym and using that membership ;-)

I have had Power 90, it's a good program, every other day you do the cardio, and on the opposite days you do the strength training, once you master Phase 1, you would move on to Phase 2, but only when you are comfortable doing so. It's not long, I think 35 mins, which was very nice and Tony (the guy who talks to you during the workout) is very inspiring.

Thanks, to all of you, for your replies!! There are so many diet/programs out there ... it's hard to find the right one. Motivation is my hardest obstacle. By the time I get done work, run my errands, and do my "chores" - I'm tired! That also doesn't leave much time for my family. But ... I know, I'm not the only one to live this life - this IS life!! I'm just whinning ...

So, sniffle sally, the Power 90 program is only $14.95, do you think it was worth it? Where you successful or should I just move on? I'm willing to spend the money (since it's minimal) if it makes me feel better and I get some exercise.

If you read the fine print when you go to order it, they will send you the additional tapes after so many dates for 19.95. So you'll end up paying the full priced version eventually, but if you want it I'd suggest looking on ebay or half.com first, they sell them for cheaper there for the ENTIRE set.
