Hi Everyone,
I am new here. This board seems very interesting and hopefully will be the support I need. I am 32 with another birthday just around the corner. I have 3 beautiful children and an Amazing Husband. The past couple of years have been very difficult. My youngest, baby Paul, was diagnosed with cancer when he was only 8 weeks old. However, after an 18 month battle... I am happy and proud to report that he is tumor free! AMEN

Now, my focus is to get healthy and fit!!! Current weight 138, my goal is 125... I am determined to make it happen. My son is my inspiration. Please, help hold me accountable! I need the challenge.

Esther :)

I'm so glad to hear your son is tumor free. I donate and do some tele-thon work for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, so I have a spot in my heart for the kids with cancer. I am so inspired by their bravery-it far surpasses their age-and the amazing strength of their parents. I hope all continues to go well with your son.

I am 32 as well, no children, but my SO has two, both of whom are nearly adults. (SO and I have one of those May December relationships going on, over four years now.) I am big sis to three, one of whom will be 30 on the 4th of July, and a 15 and 13 yo. My nearly 30 yo sis and her husband have one girl (6) and one boy (5). I love getting together with my parents, sisters and niece and nephew for our annual summer camping trip.

This is a great board, ladies from all over the country and beyond. The ladies here also have varied fitness interests; we have martial arts students, triathletes, runners, Pilates people, home workout people, gym rats...it's great. I'm one of the martial art students and a home workout person. I have a small studio apartment, but I have enough space for my cardio, Pilates ans yoga DVDs. I would say I'm a runner as well, but I really shouldn't say that. I just started this year, and I am slow.

We're glad to have you. You'll get a lot of motivation and support here.

Welcome to the board! Wow, what a tuff little guy you have! I have a 22 month old and as I'm sure most mom's know it's hard to see them sick with minor illnesses I can't imagine having to go through what you've had to deal with.

This is a great board where you will get lots of great ideas to try and find what works for you.

Good luck!
