Sorry to hear about your endometriosis. I have not dealt with it, but I know several women who have and I know it's tough. Good to know that you are having it taken care of.
As for exercise, my first thought was that maybe you overdid it after being away from exercise for a time--you didn't say how long that was? You also didn't say how much exercise you have been doing. Maybe starting out with just walking would be better and easier on your body? Take it very easy until you see the doctor next Friday. One week is not going to make a significant difference. And if it turns out that you are not able to exercise for now, then find something non-strenuous that you love doing and put your energy towards that. Remember, you are still doing the right thing for your body--allowing it to heal. Exercise will still be there afterwards. And as far as the little binge you went on, all I can do is quote what you said. It sounds like you have the right attitude.
