Is there anything that you've completely cut out of your diet?

I don't put sugar in my coffee anymore, just splenda, and I try not to buy a lot of frozen food, but nothing cut out completely.

Nope, I have found if I cut it out completely I crave it more. I have been trying to stay away from the refined white starches.

****I try for the most part to cut out white flour products, I will occasionally have them but unfortunately I pay for it afterwards with a big bloated belly

What is the tastiest healthy discovery you've made food wise? A low fat dessert? A yummy recipe?

****Hannaford’s sugar free fudgsicles they are so creamy..yummy! I have tons of yummy recipes I don’t know how many are low fat though. My mother got a recipe from the bisquick lite secion and it was delicious, it was salsa chicken and cheese over a very small layer of bisquick, it was AWESOME tasting.

What food/treat do you let yourself splurge on?

****Hmmm if I’m craving something, I will eat it, its better not to deprive yourself while you are trying to lose weight because it gets to be worse when you overindulge…so if I’m craving chocolate I will buy a really good piece of chocolate and eat it

How many times per week do you eat out (full meals)?

****rarely ever, once a paycheck I will get a pizza delivered at home or I’ll go out to lunch with a friend but mostly I don’t because I can’t afford it

Is there anything that you've completely cut out of your diet? The closest I've coming to cutting out is regular soda. I still do have regular soda occasionally but try to do so in moderation. I do drink Coke Zero now. This is a huge step for me I limit myself to just 12 oz. of even no calorie soda (usually).

I cut out regular soda as well (come to think about it, I don't even drink that much diet soda). Also, no meat and nothing with hydrogenated/trans fat.

Starbucks light coffee frappucino (no whipped cream) - a 16oz. is only 150 calories and has 20% of the daily calcium requirement!

Extra dark chocolate.

How many times per week do you eat out (full meals)?

Less than once a week and never at a fast food place.

I try not to overeat anything, but there are no "forbidden" foods for me either, so I guess I'd have to say anything that I have a serious craving for.

Lorie try Hodgsons mills wheat pasta. It's 100% whole wheat and it's delicious. Also you don't end up eating as much.

Prince makes a blend but it's still got white flour in it so not as good as the whole wheat version.

I got some whole wheat pasta at Trader Joes once and it was nasty. I really like the taste of Hodgsons Mills it's in a blue box, depending on the grocery store it could be in with the regular pasta but I know at Hannafords they put it in the "natural" section with all the power bars, pirate booty and all that other "natural" stuff.
