Ok, this might sound stupid but do any of you use visual aids to help get you/keep you on track?

I read where one woman profiled in a weight loss column kept the picture of her looking really horrible on the door of the fridge so she wouldn't graze.

I think that visual aids are a great idea. I keep a picture of me from when I was 16 on my computer monitor at work. I also need to put a current picture of me there as well to see the difference. As for spending money on a suit - I don't think I would, but maybe get a picture of it somehow. But that is just me. I wouldn't think it would be a bad thing if you did buy it.

WEll, my visual aid is this:

About a year ago I bought a second hand skirt that is exactly the shape I WANT to be.

It has hung in my closet for about a year.

I think visual aids are a great way to motivate yourself! I've done the 'skinny pants' one, and the picture of me in *thinner* days, both worked moderately well. I did also buy a top about a year ago....but it's still sitting there waiting to be worn :sigh:

Good luck-- let us know if you buy that suit!
