We've all been there- fallen off the wagon; some of us with a big ol' thud, some of us slipping gradually and some of us hanging on with the

I find it harder to get back into the exercise routine!

Why do you think that is?
I think it's a mix of lack of motivation and laziness, oh and during this time of year the heat!!

2. What's the easiest thing for you to get back on track with? Exercise or eating?
Eating for sure!

Why do you think that is?
Probably because there is less of an effort- though I do believe (and know for me anyway) I achieve better results when I am exercising!!

3. When was the last time you fell off the wagon, and how long were you off?
Um......this summer! All summer I've been slipping off, if not completely off and trailing behind all of you!

Exercise, I think I'm just naturally lazy.

Boy Kiervin, you really have been through the wringer lately-- and I have to say I am really proud that you are pulling yourself higher and higher onto the wagon. I see this

1. What's the most difficult thing for you to get back on track with? Do you find it harder to go exercise or refocus on your eating habits? Why do you think that is? Probably all of the above. Like Kiervin, I was raised in a sedentary lifestyle, so exercise does not come naturally to me at all. I was also raised eating anything I wanted, not being healthy about it. Plus having 3 kids, they want to eat certain things, and it is just so easy to eat with them.

2. What's the easiest thing for you to get back on track with? Exercise or eating? Why do you think that is? Hmm, probably eating, due to the sedentary lifestyle from a young age. I was very thin growing up, had a high metabolism, and always said - I am never going to have a weight problem. Needless to say, my mom brings that up to me now, hahahaha. So exercise is definitely hardest because it doesn't come natural. Eating is natural, so I just have to make a concerted effort to eat right.

3. When was the last time you fell off the wagon, and how long were you off? I got down to a size 8/10 for my Jan. 2003 wedding. We went on a cruise for our honeymoon, so of course I didn't eat the greatest then, although I tried not to be too bad. Then we got home and my mother-in-law passed away. We spent a week with my hubby's family and all they cook is soul food, so my diet definitely wasn't the greatest that week. But it didn't get really bad until we got in a car accident and I started having miscarriages. I have had 3 within the past 2 years, the second of which was really bad and I almost died. The first 2 times, though, I was so hungry up until the miscarriages, and I put on weight like crazy. Then of course depression set in and that was all she wrote! So I was off the wagon until 3 weeks ago when I saw a picture of myself and that did it. I said, this is it. I am going to lose this weight. I started counting my calories, then I found this board, which led me to fitday.com, and now I know I can do this!!!!

I definitely find this board supportive! I am so glad I found you!!! It is nice to know that there are women out there going through the same things as me. I think one of the hardest things before was not having anyone that I could really share this with. I could talk to my hubby about it, but as he wasn't 1)a woman, 2)trying to do the same thing as me, it just wasn't what I needed.
Thanks for being there!
