Okay, Shape Magazine recently printed the results of their nutrition and dieting survey, so I thought we'd do a little survey ourselves.

1. How many pounds do you want to lose?
Ultimately I'd like to lose about 30lbs, but for right now I'm aiming for the 9-10 in my ticker!


2. Out of the last 10 years, how many diets have you tried?
Really just done this twice, and been successful. But like Kiervin not a 'diet' per se- just trying to eat healthier.


3. Have you consulted a professional (Nutritionist, Diet Counsellor, Personal Trainer, Doctor) regarding your weightloss/fitness efforts?
No, but have discussed it with my doctor, on a personal level. She was doing Atkins at the time, and I asked her if she would recommend it for me....she said no, lol--- didn't make sense to me then (her doing it, but telling me not to) and still doesn't make sense!


4. What is your dieting downfall (carbs, sweet tooth, boredom eating, portions)?
Carbs for sure!!!! (And beer, which technically is more carbs, right??)

2. Out of the last 10 years, how many diets have you tried? Just Weight watchers & just over the last 2 yrs.

3. Have you consulted a professional (Nutritionist, Diet Counsellor, Personal Trainer, Doctor) regarding your weightloss/fitness efforts? I aksed my old primary Dr why I didn't lose a ny weight on WW & she told me it was becasue I was eating too many calories, then she proceeded to tell me that I should try 1,000 a day but wouldn't refer me to a nutritionist or anything else. She is no longer my Dr & now I'm starting from scratch. She also wanted to put me on antidepressants even though I told her I wasn't depressed.

4. What is your dieting downfall (carbs, sweet tooth, boredom eating, portions)? Not sure. I'm thinking I'm just old! LOL

5. What is your primary motivation for getting fit? I turned 35 & gained 20 pounds. I never had a weight problem before that so I've had a hard time figuring out how to lose it.

Since you asked. lol I'm not sure what he was thinking. Typically he would ask first .... "Do you mind if..." or "So ya know..."


He just e-mailed me saying: "I hope you don't mind" and a link to e-bay.


Of course I asked what he was doing that for.


So he says: "It's just the right thing to do. I'm going to donate it to the hurricane victims."


Now what the heck am I gonna say to that???? lol I wouldn't of told him no regardless but thought it was odd that he didn't mention it to me before he put them up on ebay. Maybe he was afraid I could talk him out of it to easily???

3. Have you consulted a professional (Nutritionist, Diet Counsellor, Personal Trainer, Doctor) regarding your weightloss/fitness efforts? --- personal trainer (what a rip off)

4. What is your dieting downfall (carbs, sweet tooth, boredom eating, portions)? --- All of the above. mainly sweets and boredom and lack of control to stop when I am satisfyed

5. What is your primary motivation for getting fit? --- health. Some part of my body always hurts. This month seems to be my back.
