Okay, Shape Magazine recently printed the results of their nutrition and dieting survey, so I thought we'd do a little survey ourselves.

I'm curious why you found the personal trainer to be a rip off?

They wanted $150 per session with a min of 3 per week. When i went for my first to sessions to check them out they worked me out way to hard. I know how to exercise but just don't. I am way out of shape and know my limits but the trainors would not listen. I actually felt like I was going to throw up. Two differnt people two differnt times. Needless to say I did not sign up.

I know there are good trainors but these two were not in that group.

That's too bad that they didn't listen to you-- you know maybe they can get like that when they've seen you a few times, and are beginning to learn your limits. Just doesn't sound very professional to me. Plus it does sound pricey!! Ack-

1. How many pounds do you want to lose?

10-15, but mostly I want to lose body fat

2. Out of the last 10 years, how many diets have you tried?

Too many to count, but I quit dieting 5 years ago, and then dropped 50 pounds. ;)

3. Have you consulted a professional (Nutritionist, Diet Counsellor, Personal Trainer, Doctor) regarding your weightloss/fitness efforts?

I have had a couple of personal trainers short-term. It's worth the money if you can afford it.

4. What is your dieting downfall (carbs, sweet tooth, boredom eating, portions)?

Boredom eating, and morning pastries

5. What is your primary motivation for getting fit?

I would like to train for an adventure race.
