The Biggest Loser Train!
| Sun, 09-11-2005 - 4:41pm |
So Biggest Loser starts up again on Tuesday just in time for me to jump back on the train with my own eating habits. I'm going back on south beach after I fell off miserably and have slept and bummed out the remainder of the month of august. So I'm back on track starting tommorow, I cleared my house of any sugar. LOL
Anyhow, so is everyone going to watch this time around? It really was very inspiring last year. I'll probably keep this post going every wednesday to see if people are watching.

A little late with my input.....
Thought it was a great episode-- really inspiring! They all did so well, and now I guess is the *real* challenge, at home with their every day lives. I didn't know it was 3 months ago that they left the ranch!!
I have to go to dealer practice on Tuesday, but am hoping that I get out of there early to come home to watch the finale!!

Recap of Finale:
2 hours of clips basically so I won't bore you since we've read and saw all that before. Everyone looked pretty amazing, except for Kathryn, she hasn't lost any additional weight since leaving the ranch, a little disappointing. Of course poor sport Nick declined to attend because he's still large and he didn't like getting voted off early.
The previous people voted off had one last weigh in to win 100k. Everyone looked so good with special props going to Suzanne (SMOKING ABS), Ryan (HELLOOO SEXY CLEAVAGE), Pete (HOLY CRAP), Shannon (MEOW), Dr. Jeff (HALF OF HIS FORMER SELF) and Andrea (H-O-T-T-I-E)
Pete of course lost the most and won the 100k.
THen they did a little clip of the final three and their adjustments they are going through back home. I was a little ticked with Matt's immature friends, calling him the biggest crybaby, or bringing up just negative things from his past, asking him to drink with them, I think he's going to fade out of that crowd because they all seem stuck in high school or college and he's just got better things to do. They were pretty rude and you could tell he wanted to tell them all to shut up. Seth worked his BEHIND off and looked amazing. Suzy...hellooo? Despite the fact that she was still a blubbering fool man I could just see the confidence jump off the screen from her 100 watt smile. She looked amazing. Jello decided they all did so well that 3rd place would get 25k, 2nd place would get 50k and the biggest loser would get 250k so they all walked away with money which I think was awesome.
Anyhow, lets take a moment to touch on our hostess with the mostess Carolyn Rae, apparently Carolyn had Tammy Wynett come and do her hair for this special occasion because it was a special kind of big tonight, then she found this really beautiful black blouse that she bedazzled and put huge buttons on, nothing screams sexy like 2 inch buttons. Some things never change I think Pete threw his back out picking her up.
So the final weigh in, Seth lost an amazing amount of weight like 46% percent, Suzy lost just as much at 43% or something like that but my man Matt came through I predicted he would win and he did...he lost a total of like 157 lbs. He looked smokin hot and I could have eaten him up. And he was super proud that he's been sober for 9 months.
SOrry it took so long, I was out until 8:45 tonight so I had to watch it before I came on here and posted about it.
I think we could have done with an hour long finale but they wanted to drag it out.
Now I wonder if Matt would be interested in moving to Massachusetts....

No kidding, Matt was super hot, as was Seth, but he's married. Heck, Suzy is smokin'....I might go gay for her. LOL! Just kidding, but she is just that hot now. Ruben was looking studly with the shorter haircut, too. Matt is closer to me in Missouri....hmmmmmm.
LOL!
Did you notice how Matt was checking Suzy out when he first came out.
It was just awesome. Everyone looked fantastic, except for Kathryn (I felt for her, though). Nick was an arse anyway, so I'm not surprised he wussed out.
Now if Matt will just get some confidence & stand up straight....he's earned it! :)
I felt bad for Kathryn too, and give her kudo's for coming to the reunion....she looked really out of sorts coming out onto the stage. At least she got to do that final weigh in early!
"Nick was an arse anyway"- haven't heard that expression in a l-o-n-g time, lol!

Out of the others I was amazed at Pete (and his wife!), and Andrea looks terrific!

My Reading Journal
You are too funny. I have the NBC site up so I'm going to go see if they show anything. I went to bed instead. Since I haven't been working out, I've been a slug. I need to get back into it. I was doing so good.
ETA: I'm looking at the after photos, holy crap. I don't even recognize these ppl. Suzy DOES look hot. Jeez. That woman transformed!!!! Matt, you guys can have him, not that attractive to me, but wow, I am so amazed at how much these people have lost. They look like models. :) Awww...Seth is a cutie. I wish they had the before pictures next to the after pictures. I need to dig deeper into the website.

I watched last season's Biggest Loser but had only seen about 1/3 of the episodes.
However, this year I'm proud to say that I did not miss a single episode. I absolutely love this show. It's so motivating, and absolutely miraculous what all of these people go through and the weight they've lost. Their lives have been completely transformed.
When it came down to the final three, I thought it would either be Matt or Seth as the winner. Both of them are fiercely competitive and have been doing awesome the whole episode (even counting that week Matt gained 12 lbs lol - the next week he lost 27 I think?! Amazing).
I'm glad Matt won - he definitely deserved it. He definitely had some ups and downs this season, but has pulled through to win it all. I think when they brought back his wrestling coach and one of his wrestling buddies that that really helped to motivate him and get him back on track.
They all did an awesome job. I'm glad that Jello decided to give $50,000 to 2nd place Seth and $25,000 to 3rd place Suzie. Definitely well-deserved. :)
I'll probably watch most of that January edition of the show. However American Idol starts then too, so I'll probably be swapping between the two shows.
