The Biggest Loser Train!

So Biggest Loser starts up again on Tuesday just in time for me to jump back on the train with my own eating habits. I'm going back on south beach after I fell off miserably and have slept and bummed out the remainder of the month of august. So I'm back on track starting tommorow, I cleared my house of any sugar. LOL

Anyhow, so is everyone going to watch this time around? It really was very inspiring last year. I'll probably keep this post going every wednesday to see if people are watching.

Breakfast is either a 2% cottage cheese and some almonds or a couple of organic eggs. Lunch is usually a huge salad with some chicken on it and a sugar free jello snack cup and dinner is usually chicken/fish/beef/pork with a vegetable.

Hmmmmmmm, 1100-1300 calories and 4 hours of exercising per day?

I don't think they taper them. They lose all the weight on the show and then if you read their strories they eaither stay the same or lose a more resonable amount like 10 pounds. but they elimintae a lot of things from their deits, like they never eat sugar or pasta etc. I don't know about you guys but I want to lose it slowly and to be able to eat ll foods in moderation.

They must because the last 4 weeks of the show they are on their own back home in their own environments with their families so it's obvious they weren't able to work out for 4 hours a day there and they had to take into consideration others in their families and such. And all of them lost weight when they went home too.

Yes, the do teach them just about everything as far as portion sizes, how to read the lables, how to eat out they get a decent nutrition "class" as well so they can be healthly and have the knowledge to make good choices later on.

Episode 2 Report:

Tonights episode was great, the women really pulled together. The challenge was to walk across a balance beam sort of thing over water, get to the other side, if you fell in the water, you had to swim back and start all over, the women gave each other encouragement and won the challenge. But in a really great twist. After they had officially won, one of the men still hadn't made it across and both the women and men just cheered him on and it was fabulous to see.

The women for winning the challenge got to read letters from home and got to workout one additional day to weigh in. Unfortunately it didn't help them in the weigh in, collectively they only lost 18 lbs and they had to lose a total of 33 to beat the men, so they had to send one of their women home. But they chose wisely, they chose the girl who had an ankle injury. She was a bit catty when she left stating "she came here for herself not to make friends" OUCH!

Matt tore his quad and Nick got in a huge fight with Jillian and she walked out. But all in all this episode was surely inspiring and not as "high school" as last week. I was really inspired with the women and men cheering on Jeff to complete the competition.

Kathryn who went home, lost in total 38 lbs.

Thanks for the report SS-- I missed it last night. I went out to meet some friends for dinner, and thought I'd be home in time for it. But no- so I appreciate seeing the report ;-)

Sounds like it was a *team* inspiring episode!

Thanks for the recap! I had back to school night and forgot to set the DVR. I'll have to go check out the site so I can't put name to faces.

Jillian walked out?? Wow!
