The Biggest Loser Train!

So Biggest Loser starts up again on Tuesday just in time for me to jump back on the train with my own eating habits. I'm going back on south beach after I fell off miserably and have slept and bummed out the remainder of the month of august. So I'm back on track starting tommorow, I cleared my house of any sugar. LOL

Anyhow, so is everyone going to watch this time around? It really was very inspiring last year. I'll probably keep this post going every wednesday to see if people are watching.

These women are absolutely pissing me off! Suzanne bugs me I'm not sure why. I can't stand hearing her brag what a tuff NY cop she is! Thought it was interesting that Bob was in

Bob is awesome.

I dont' know I think Suzanne is an instigator. I think she's always going to be the one causing conflict in the house. I think the only reason that Ryan was voted off was because the men had to decide and I'm sure they were hearing from Shannon, Jen and Suzanne all about how the other ones are mean to them etc. blah blah blah

I'm sorry, the whole "gang" up on someone where you are yelling and everyone is throwing their two cents in like they did to Ryan at the table, nope homey don't play that, it's too high school for me.

Me too- I was thrilled to see the Vegas gamblers work their bee-hinds off, and Matt, I thought, was wonderful to include them in his 'sessions'!

Yep, that's what it's all about. He didn't care that they could beat them later on. None of the men did. I remember saying this about last year too. It's all about feeling good about yourself. When your not feeling good it's so much easier to tear other people down and behave in ways that are counter productive. The men are feeling good about what they are doing right now and you can tell by their behavior.

Week 5 Recap:

Okay we go into the week and the first challenge is they are given a group of foods (hamburgers, shakes, fries etc.) and they have to come up with a number amount of "calories" for all the foods together, whoever is closest wins. Whoever isn't, what ever amount they were away so if say they said 50 calories and it was really 110 then they would be 60 cals from the total. That's the number of steps each has to do on the stairmaster. The women lost by over 1000 calories OUCH!!!!

So they gripe and whine but they do the workouts.

Challenge 2. They have keys and a bunch of refrigerators with locks on it. The keys open 4 fridges...in them are trays of jello, they have to open the fridge and run the jellos back to another fridge. Whichever teams does it the quickest, wins the challenge. THeir reward for doing this is videotapes from family members back at home.

THE WOMEN WIN!!! THey worked great as a team, Shannon had a great strategy and they pulled it off. The videotapes from home were very heartwarming, I cried even.

So time for the weigh in, since the men lost the challenge they weigh first. Of course yet again they put up HUGE numbers losing over 50 lbs combined. The women have to lose over 39 lbs to win the weigh in.

The women miss it by 5 lbs. (UGGH) so they lose again. NOw it's time to vote someone off, and just when they finally get their shiat together and work as a team. In the end the women vote off Suzanne. THANK GOD! I think this was the best choice. Let me say she does an AMAZING job after she loses the ranch, she lost a total of 70 lbs now and looks amazing, she's shooting for another 30 lbs for her final goal of 100 lbs, but she looks GORGEOUS!!!!

Next weeks looks good. Apparently someone leaves disappointed by their numbers at weigh in, the previews it appears to be "Matt" but who knows, that's what editing is for it may be someone else. LOL

I thought it was an inspirational episode...I have to say I guessed way under for those calories, but knew the ladies were well over! Poor things, but you're right- they did pull it together, as a team- for the whole week. About time!!

Sorry to see them lose, and I guess Suzanne's lying got her booted off sooner than she had hoped. She did look great in her after shot, and I like that she had a mini video to go along with it.

It does look like it's Matt who walks off....but you're right, it might just be an editing ploy.

I was happy to see Suzanne go. She was annoying. I heard them talking about her lying but didn't know what that was about. I must have missed that. THe men have huge numbers but did you notice how flabby they are getting. That is my biggest fear. Loose a ton of weight and be so flabby I need a body lift. That is a draw back for a lot of people and gastric bypass.

Jillian is comming out with a book. It should be interesting.
