The Biggest Loser Train!
| Sun, 09-11-2005 - 4:41pm |
So Biggest Loser starts up again on Tuesday just in time for me to jump back on the train with my own eating habits. I'm going back on south beach after I fell off miserably and have slept and bummed out the remainder of the month of august. So I'm back on track starting tommorow, I cleared my house of any sugar. LOL
Anyhow, so is everyone going to watch this time around? It really was very inspiring last year. I'll probably keep this post going every wednesday to see if people are watching.

Andrea didn't say anything about her husband but it was my opinion of what he said He said to her "You are needed at home" etc. and really I felt not being supportive of her doing what she needed to do there, I felt it was rather selfish of him to put that on her when she was just so excited to see him you know? I have to wonder too what was written in that letter because she said it was her son's birthday and she was saying "Everything is falling down there and that she was "needed" I was thinking "Hmmm what else was written" I mean after all why would her birthday make "everything fall apart"

I think these people were much heavier than the first people which would account for the greater amounts of poundage lost

Week 9 Recap:
Now they have reshuffled again, everyone is on their own from now on. The two below the yellow line are up for elimination at the end of the week. So we go into the week having lost Mark. Jillian is devastated. Bob and Jillian take their team out to work out because they will be doing something related to "jumping" during the challenge. Shannon gets pissed at Bob because she tells Bob her foot hurts and he's saying "come on everyone lets go run" so she got pissy, he got pissy it was ugly.
THey get over it.
THey have a dunk booth. Each piece of M&M is 10 calories, for each candy you eat you can throw a ball at the trainers and dunk em'. Matt does it a few times and so does ANdrea. When they get back Suzy decides it's time to cut Matt's hair. OH MY GOD he looks practically like a different person, he's quite handsome, hubba hubba. Much better, he looks younger and even thinner, that crappy hair did him no justice.
The challenge is they have to jump "rope" it's this bar that is automated, which obviously gets faster and faster. Whomever wins gets the exercise bike they could have won before, plus immunity from elimination.
Dr. Jeff is the first to go...then Andrea....then Suzy....then Shannon, its down to Seth and Matt and Seth keeps talking to Matt trying to break him, but ends up breaking the bar himself and Matt wins immunity. He's psyched.
So they go back and do their workouts but since Matt won immunity he decides to eat more, so he actually "gains" this week, this is part of his strategy by gaining the week he has immunity and then working super hard the next week he's hoping to drop some big numbers when they are needed the most.
Weigh in Time.
Matt goes first. Well he got his wish...he gained 12 lbs. I think he was expecting to gain like 5, but not quite 12. OUCH! That may hurt him next week. Andrea loses 5 lbs. Shannon loses 8 lbs. Suzy loses 10 lbs. Seth loses 13 I believe but don't quote me on that and Dr. Jeff loses like 14 or 15 lbs. CRAZY. Shannon and Andrea are in the bottom two with Andreas %age of weight loss being the lowest. Dr. Jeff has lost a total of 100 lbs to date.
Time for elimination, if it's a tie the lowest person will automatically go home. Suzy votes for Shannon (man does she need to lessen her "speeches"), Seth votes for Shannon, Jeff votes for Andrea and Matt votes for Shannon. She is okay with it, although she seemed a little pissed. She goes home to a big party. At the point she left the ranch she had lost 57 lbs total. She lost another 30 lbs and was down a total of 87 lbs. She looks so good and really beautiful.
Will Matt's weight gain turn out to be a gamble he can't afford?? Will they dress Carolyn Rae better?
Anyone want to take bets on who will be the "biggest loser" during the grande finale. Last year I won when I chose Ryan...anyone want to make their predictions. I'll put up a poll.
I was glad to see all the women had such a great week even if the two were in the bottom two. I did feel like there was a little bad feelings still with the women. I just don't understand why they have such a hard time being supportive of each other. I think at this point they should be nothing but happy and respectful of one another.
Anyway, thought Matt

See the thing is how often did he even have a plateau? when he lost nothing. Once and why was that? It was because he was eating more in the middle of the night secret meals.
Why would he think now all of a sudden he would hit another if he's consistent in everything?
The blue thing? It looked like something Heidi would wear to milk the goats.
The way the biggest loser worked last year. Was that the three final people were sent home for 4 weeks to continue their weight loss strategy on their own. Then at the finale they all weighed and the "biggest" loser won. I would assume they might be doing it the same way but I don't know.
Ah, thanks for the reminder! I'll think about my vote this morning, and vote later ;-)
Happy November!
