To funny, I can particularly relate to.

- When the size 36" pants are too small don't even bother trying to talk me in to trying on the 38" or 40". Even if they did fit I would never buy them because 36" is my psychological ceiling.

and my biggest pet peeve of late regarding clothes:

- I wear a large shirt but when I try on a large at MEXX, Guess or Esprit I look like a guy with a dry-fit shirt on over top a down-filled jacket. Is L the new XS or am I really getting that fat?

This in the last couple of years has changed or is it me. I use to be able to buy a small or medium top. Now I'm getting larges and contemplating X-large. My 12 year old daughter barely into puberty is wearing a women's small. My 13 year-old, rather busty, daughter is pushing it in the larges. How do you tell a 13 year old girl I think you need a bigger size. It flabbergasted her when she had to get a size 8 jean this year (a size 10 would have probably been better but I just couldn't bring myself to say it). I said to her "Congratulations, you are now a woman." Not because you

Oh man that 3 garment limit is a joke. If i am getting clothes i need to make sure all the shirts look good with all the pants to maximize my wardrobe.

the thing getting to me now is being between sizes. one size is way to big the next size down is way to small. How about using all the numbers? instead of 2 4 6 8 (is if i fit in thoes) try 2 3 4 5 6 7 ...

Bra shopping is the worst.

that was funny.

Okay, I had to say, that was funny. I especially agree with the other poster, talking about sizes getting smaller, or what?

although, i do recall reading this article, where today's size 6 used to be a size 10 back in the 60's or something. My mom said, she had to jump a few sizes, over a few years, even though she didn't really gain any weight. All of a sudden, her size 0's, were now size 4's. Obviously she was a stick, but still.

And I could NEVER shop juniors clothing. I mean, I can be a M/L in women's clothing, and in juniors, lemme see if I can find a XXL, maybe. It's depressing. And if you shop at the limited, oh yeah, forget a M. I think I'd have to lose 30lbs to get into a M. Even when I pick out a numbered size, it's STILL small. While I was a 10 shirt size, in there, I was picking up 14's, IF they had them. Amazing.

I hate shopping. I wish they'd make things all the same. because I really do hate finding clothes, and having to bring them 3 at a time to the dressing room to try it on, cuz you all know, if you don't, it won't fit when you get home (even if you bought the EXACT same thing the WEEK before, in a different color), and then you have to go back to return it, or go up a size.
