QOTW- Exercise Weakness'

We've all done it- had an excuse not to workout......why do we do that to ourselves, when deep down we know all the benefits of how good it will make us feel?

1. What's the number one excuse you use when you don't feel/want to exercise?

2. Is there a particular form of exercise that has gotten you hooked, either recently or in the past?

3. Do you like to schedule when you will exercise throughout the week, or are you a 'whenever' you can kinda gal?

Good for you for going to workout on your way home from work! I've had a few friends be really successful working out at Curves- how long have you been going there?

Lorie- I have to say I'm envious of your 'creature of habit' rule to exercise! I remember a time when I was like that too.....wonder what happened?? I'd love to get back there!

1. What's the number one excuse you use when you don't feel/want to exercise? Probably that I'm to wiped out/tired from work! (Deep down I'd have to say it was laziness!)

2. Is there a particular form of exercise that has gotten you hooked, either recently or in the past? I got hooked on Leslie Sansone tapes, knew them word for word! I hope to start using them again, the weather is finally cooling down here! I've also grown to really enjoy Yoga.

3. Do you like to schedule when you will exercise throughout the week, or are you a 'whenever' you can kinda gal? I'm usually a 'whenever', but know that I do much better when working from a schedule!!

Thanks IG. I'm sure you'll get back there soon.

I use Leslie's stuff too. What I try to tell myself when I don't feel like doing it is that they don't take that long, especially the two mile. By time I get done with that one, I usually feel ready to do weights or whatever.

1. What's the number one excuse you use when you don't feel/want to exercise? Being tired

2. Is there a particular form of exercise that has gotten you hooked, either recently or in the past? No

3. Do you like to schedule when you will exercise throughout the week, or are you a 'whenever' you can kinda gal? I am a schedule person if something deviates me from that schedule I am doomed it throws me off track for weeks and it takes so much to get me back on track.

You are SO right- they (the Leslie tapes) don't take that long, and I know I feel good afterwards!

OK that's it I'm putting it on the desk right now........pulled out the 1 mile AB walk, and will do tomorrow after school. Thanks for motivating me!

I'm week 2 and I'm struggling, mainly because I'm having my monthly visitor and I'm having major sinus trouble on top of it so all I want to do is have something sweet. Still trying.

I don't think i mentioned it. I had a tape - Denice Austin - actually.. I wore it out and have not found another to replace it. I also used the bag at my boyfried's but then it got hot and i got lazy. When me and BF would wrestle i would get in a few good hits. I need to get back in to that. Tomorrow I may check out the local curling group.
