Every once in a while I come across a success story that doesn't involve hours with a personal trainer and a home pilates gym along with a

I've been thinking of weight watchers. that story sure did motivate. have you or anyone you know ever tried weight watchers?
I know years and years ago my mom tried weight watchers, and it really worked for her.
My story :)
Oh I enjoyed that story too. I did WW. The thing that worked for me, was being able to eat what I want. However, I hated keeping track of the points. Because, afterawhile, I'd get tired of it, and just eat what I knew was X amount of points. Hence, my diet got real boring. HOWEVER, I also learned to watch my portions. I think that's the huge part.
Like, many times for lunch, I bring a sandwich. Well, I'd eat chips with that and a soda or water. And I'd still be hungry, because my normal portions are prolly double that size. I could've eaten 2.5 sandwiches that I bring from home. So, I started changing my lunches. I'd make my sandwich with cucumbers (it's a cold-cut sandwich) and lettuce. Fillers. Healthy fillers though. Instead of chips, I'd opt for baked chips (lay's) or carrots. I've learned one VERY important thing about me. I need the CRUNCH!!! Chips, crunchy fries, carrots, whatever worked. I need crunch (I even bought crunchy peanut butter). Weird, I know, but it works.
So, for me, portion and crunch. Those are my main things right now. I may not be on some record to lose weight, but so far, I'm happy to have lost 5 lbs. At least, I know if I keep this up, it's the healthy way of losing.
Cher, that's interesting that you realized it was the CRUNCH you craved!
Way to go Cher!!!!
Sometimes pinpointing exactly what you crave, and what you need to work on is KEY! Good for you for figuring it out, and getting it to work for you :-)
Happy Halloween ]]
