Treadmill run/walk in 20 Mins

I cut this out of this month's Fitness magazine, I'm taping it to my treadmill to do every morning. Follow the instructions and MPH/Incline rate for each "minute" setting.

First is minutes, followed by MPH and finally incline on machine. They tend to group together even if I try to put them in columns so I put backslashes to differentiate between the columns. Also check out tread20.com for other suggestions.

MINUTES// MPH// INCLINE
00:00-3:00// 3.0// 1
3:00-3:30// 3.5// 2
3:30-4:00// 3.5// 4
4:00-4:30// 3.5// 6
4:30-5:00// 3.5// 7
5:00-6:00// 5.0// 1
6:00-7:00// 4.0// 1
7:00-7:30// 4.5// 2
7:30-8:00// 4.5// 4
8:00-8:30// 4.5// 6
8:30-9:00// 4.5// 7
9:00-10:00// 3.5// 1
10:00-11:00// 6.0// 1
11:00-12:00// 3.5// 1
12:00-12:30// 5.0// 2
12:30-13:00// 5.0// 4
13:00-13:30// 5.0// 6
13:30-14:00// 5.0// 7
14:00-16:00// 3.5// 1
16:00-17:00// 6.0// 1
17:00-20:00// 3.0// 1

I'm starting tomorrow, I'll pop in and tell you how out of shape and out of breath I am after this particular jaunt.

Luckily you only have to do the 6.0 for 2 mins total broken up in one minute intervals. LOL We'll see. I'm sure I'll have to hold on to the bars.

YEEE HAWWWWW!!!!

Man oh man this was AWESOME!!!!

I couldn't quite do 6.0 mph, as I can't run that fast,so I did a little lower than that, but when I got done this workout I felt FABULOUS this morning, wide awake, sweating, it was AWESOME!!!!

I'm going to try to do this 3 times a week M,W, F and T, Th do Tae Bo, just to mix it up in the morning. Then in the afternoon do my slim in 6. I have to say I think this was awesome.

Good for you-- sounds like you are totally pumped up to continue the program too. Do you have a treadmill at home? (I can't remember)

Great start to your week!!

YAY!!! Okay, I'd feel lame for having the piece of paper taped to the machine so I can remember what to do. The other thing I hate about doing constant changes like that, is that it's not fast enough. It's hard to get things to go faster/slower, higher/lower when you have to punch the button and slow/speed yourself up all at the same time. Okay, I have no coordination. lol.

I'm glad that you feel GREAT! I need to feel that again. I miss it. lol. Will have to go run tonight. :) Maybe I'll mix it up more. Just for you.

LOL Well I have the treadmill at the house so not too worried about feeling silly. hahaha!

Well it was pretty gradual in the up down/faster slower thing so it didn't seem all that tough.

This is my biggest fear! That I'll be trying to slow the stupid machine down and I'll go flying off the back of it. Gets harder the tired I get. The buttons on the machine just make me nuts too; you really have to poke and or rub your finger across them to get them to respond. Guess they might be getting to worn.
