Well the championship was today and I went, the weather was really sunny and the competence took place at an open parking lot, imagine the sun hitting everyone. It was for beginners, many people participated, the steps were basic although sometime I lost track of some steps from some times, but not the whole time. One of the reasons why I lost track was that people were very close to each other and did not give much space from one another, so sometimes I bumped into people next to me and lost track of the instructor’s movement. There were people from all ages, and that is how why people were placed in categories. Even an 83yrd old lady participated. They gave everyone participation medals. Even if there were basic steps, the rhythm was continued and people had to move the body, I mean there were not stationary movements.
I did not win anything though, not even 1, 2 or 3rd place, but winning was not the most important part for me, although it would have been nice. What the judges took into account this time was the attitude and the mood of each person. I mean they did not judge, if you made a huge mistake, or if you did not place your leg the way it should be in a certain movement, for instance. The time to rest and hydrate of course was more than 1 minute.
Some minutes before the competition was over, I had a small colic on my right side of the abdomen. I don’t know if that started because I hydrate too much in the first time off and then before the competition started or there is another reason. Also the sun makes people get more tired, and I was a bit tired, not much just some minutes before the competition ended, but I kept going, I did not stop.
In summary I had fun.

Sounds like you had a fun time at it Maru! It's nice when something like that is done for the whole community to participate in. Thanks for stopping by with the update!
