Hi I am new here but have been using the fitness tracker for a couple months. I am a 30 year old mother of 3 ages 14, 9,and 8. I have been a size 5/6 for a long time and in the last two years have fallen off and am now in a 10. I am 5'6" and am now 140. And I am stuck. I have been excersizing for the last couple weeks really regular and am not seeing any results. I have an ablounge like the one on tv. While I am using it I can feel it but get nothing the next day. Am I using it right? I am a single mom so going to a gym is pretty much out. But I am very frustrated. Any ideas would be greatly welcome. Thank you

I sorry to hear you are frustrated. I totally understand about tying to be fit and healthy with a family to take care of on top of it.

My main suggestions is move more and eat less. Now eat healthy and make sure you are getting enough food to support your body and the exercise it's doing.

Come up with a plan and stick to it for a couple of weeks. If you see no results adjust your plan. A food plan might contain about how many calories you want to have a day. Schedule your meals and snacks type of thing. Then an exercise schedule for each week. Be careful don't over do the exercise and get burnt out. You want to stay as consistent so don't over shoot for more than you can really do.

If you see no results tweak your plan after a couple of weeks. Less potatoes and/or fats for example. Add 5 minutes to your work outs.

When I first started to exercise I only did 15 minute work outs and then added to that each week to kind of carve out "my" time.

Good luck!

Thank you all for your advice!! I am setting the goal today, starting today I am going to do 30minutes everyday. It doesn't seem like much but I am hoping it is a good start at least. I am just not sure what I am going to do with that 30 minutes. Like I said I have been using the ablounge for awhile and don't seem to be getting anywhere. the only other time I have ever had to diet I was a teen and starved myself until I had to have a feeding tube for a month. So if anyone has any ideas on toning excersises please let me know. I need everything from my chest to my knees. Thanks again

Everyone has given you some great advice - and by far I'm no expert so I'm not sure if I can help. :)

I think 30mins/day is GREAT!

I can't find the journaling section, can you help me find it please? Thanks again to all for your advice it helps knowing that I am not the only person around that can no longer drop 10 ounds in 10 days. So far I have kept with the 30 minutes a day plan the only problem is that I am not very imaginative and keep running out of different things to try. Any ideas?

The Journals section is right below the challenges section, and that's where the women here log their days, or just whatever they want to track or vent, or what have you.

As for 30 minute workouts I know that there are some video tapes that are specifically for people with time issues so they can be 20-40 minutes.

Swimming (I am a wuss so only swim for 20-30 minutes)

Walking!
