Ok - the first step is to have surgery on your tooth.


Then - because of this, you have to have a "soft diet" for a few days.

Ugh-- sorry to hear about the teeth trouble, but hey it helped move that scale, right?? As for losing/gaining muscle...I'm not too sure either. My thought is though that yes you would lose it rather quickly (now I'm not sure of how much you could lose in 5 days, but I think you'd start losing muscle (at least strength) in a short period of time. As for building it back up- not as long as it took you initially but it still would require you to build things up slowly-- especially if it's been a while since you worked out, etc....

Congrats on your 5 lb. loss even if the method wasn't the most fun...the scale did move!


That is good information about losing muscle ~ I wouldn't think you lost a great deal of that in a couple weeks!
