Refocus after holidays

Uggh I feel gross. I did well on the holidays, all the holiday parties I attended, I didn't eat any appetizers,I didn't overindulge, I didn't get second helpings, I didn't even eat dessert. So I know I did pretty darn good.

The entire period between thanksgiving and christmas I was sick, either with a cold, or headaches or icky diareah (I think from stress). So I am trying to refocus and eat right. So I made a salad for lunch, brought a snack of carrots and craisins and ate oatmeal for breakfast.

Anyone else ready to jump back on the wagon?

You know the holidays are rough on most of us.....not only those tempting foods and parties to go to, but most of our routines are thrown into the air too! It just doesn't help!!

Dee, sounds like you were quite in control of things over the holidays so far, sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling too well though! (Guess that cold weather is not helping at all!!!)

I too am ready to jump onto the wagon, was up early with intentions of going for a walk, however I'm still sitting in front of the computer!!! (The intention was there, and I do still have time to actually get off this chair and walk!!)

We can do this :-)

I hope I able to jump back on a few days before the new year. I've been awful food wise and activity wise for about 3 weeks now. Started the morning off okay. Had some oatmeal for breakfast and have planned out my eating till late afternoon snack. Maybe get in a walk this evening.

That's exactly how I feel. Activity wise, like a slug. I've been so tired, almost every night in the month of december I've been falling asleep at 8:30 on the couch. Food wise I did real well, it's getting my big old booty in gear to workout. lol

Hey Dee, if you have been feeling a bit under the weather lately give yourself a little bit of a break - maybe ease back into things with some stress relieving activities like yoga, stretching, maybe a swim!'

It's easy to let ourselves get all stressed out and run on adrenaline leading up the holidays and once the big day arrives we can crash - letting all those bugs and viruses have their way with us while our immune system is laid low.

So hope you are feeling back up to snuff soon - we can all use a hand up onto the wagon this time of year!!

So day one is down. Ate 1456 calories yesterday and did Slim in 6. UGGH am I in pain today. By the way, anyone that is single, I bought Omaha Steaks Chicken Breasts stuffed with wild rice. They are in individual servings and are DELICIOUS. One piece was enough to fill me up and it was only 260 calories.

Very good buy.

Great job. Keep thinking how good you will feel, eating healthy and exercising.

Slimin6 really works. My cousin purchase the program when she hit a plateau and lost another 4% of body fat. She LOOKS smaller and firmer. The results are totally visible.

I tell myself, I didn't gain this weight in a month, so it's not coming off in a month.
