Are you happy with how this year has gone?

***Relatively

Have you been thinking about changes you'll make in 2006?

***Somewhat

When you make resolutions (if you do) do you make more 'traditional' ones (save money, lose weight, etc...) or more unique ones (be a positive person, become less critical, etc....)?

**I never make resolutions, it's hard enough for me to lose weight without the added pressure of breaking a resolution.

Are you happy with how this year has gone? I guess, I quit drink soda; switched to diet. Worked out more but still feel I didn't get anywhere.

Have you been thinking about changes you'll make in 2006? Yep!

Money is always a huge one after Christmas. However, I keep everything pretty simple and small maybe that's part of my problem. Need to think BIG. I always like to work on mental/spiritual side but nothing particular.

Are you happy with how this year has gone? In some areas, very, and in some areas, not at all. I am happy with my progress as far as my eating habits, progress - still need a little work, and definitely with my exercise routine. Not at all happy with my professional life. This job is so dead end and pointlesss now. And that has left me unhappy with my financial situation. Needs some work.

Have you been thinking about changes you'll make in 2006? I have indeed. I do a "new year's goals" list each year, so it's time to get out the one I made for '05 and see how I did and do the new one.

I am not happy with the way this year went. So many things went awry.I am making my list of changes fro 2006 and they run the gambit from losing weight..to having a more positive attitude.

I think I did pretty well this year. I started eating better & have lost a few pounds.

I guess for 2006 I'd like to get into a working out routine. I have a hard time sticking to anything long term except my yoga. I realize its because I hate to work out alone. Too bad I can't talk my mom into joining the gym. And DH hasn't been in almost a year even though he really needs to work out & lose some weight too. Too bad there isn't a "frind finder" at the gym so I can be paired up with someone else.

I don't usually make resolutions for new year's. I just make them as I think I need to.

I sort of agree Dee- sometimes making "resolutions" set yourself up for failure.....however I also think it helps to have some focus. Though, I suppose you don't have to decide on that focus at the beginning of the year!

Well Lorie- seems that you've been doing some thinking on this for a while now. I like how you write that those 'attitude' changes can be more difficult to change, it's like changing part of your personality. No matter what happens in 2006-
