Chrissy- having a postive attitude is HUGE when it comes to taking care of yourself, and getting 'healthy'......you have to train yourself into thinking that you ARE worth all this work! Can't do that with a negative attitude, right?
Ann- I wonder if you ask any of the staff at the gym if they know of anyone with thoughts like yourself? Or at least you could let them know, and they could keep their eye out for you....or even better is there a noticeboard you could put a note on saying you're looking for a workout partner? Just a thought.....
Are you happy with how this year has gone? When I looked at my "Goals for 2005" the other day I was pleasantly surprised to see that out of 8 goals, 6 were crossed off. The two that weren't were a)Buy a house (which I really didn't think would happen this year, but put it down to be thinking of it!!) and b)Lose 30lbs (during the course of the year I was up and down on this, all in all I lost about 10lbs).
Have you been thinking about changes you'll make in 2006? Not really-- like some of you I record goals as they come to mind....
When you make resolutions (if you do) do you make more 'traditional' ones (save money, lose weight, etc...) or more unique ones (be a positive person, become less critical, etc....)? Some of both. Usually the resolutions I make at the beginning of the year are to do with personality traits though.
Are you happy with how this year has gone? ***Yes and no. There were some good times, some bad times. Overall, I'm not too happy with this year, however, there have been many changes (and that could be why i'm not happy with it. lol. I don't do good with changes).
Have you been thinking about changes you'll make in 2006? ***I did at one point, however, I didn't see any changes that I would make. I'm already on my "path", so I'm happy with where I am at right now.

Be it self-growth, weight loss, etc. I haven't made my list yet, but I will one day. lol. I usually set goals for the year. I do make weight goals, but they're nothing set in stone. I didn't make my year-end goal by 10lbs, but I'm happy with the 10lb loss :)
Cher- that seems like a great way of preparing for the new year "I make a list of things I will work on. Be it self-growth, weight loss". Plus I love that you are on your "path"...here's to the journey along it being happy and successful-
