Tough Love- No Excuses!

With the New Year looming and many of us thinking it's the ideal time to hop back onto the fitness wagon, when I saw this article over at the South Beach board I knew I had to share with you-
The Real Reasons People Fail On A Diet

What an excellent post, thanks for sharing.

I love that Yoda quote. That's what I'm always telling K. "do or do not, but do not try". And that's what I tell myself. That is why...............
I do not force anything. I don't get angry if I want something sweet. I'm not good all the time, because if I say I will be, I will fail. And why set myself up for failing, right?
I do what I KNOW I can do. I push it a bit, but I don't force change.
Love all the excuses....as many of those were mine, but then I come here and see so many women, with kids, jobs, etc, and they get in a workout, so I learned to stop making excuses. If other ppl can do it, I can.
:) Or at least..........I try. LOL.

So true Cher-- kind of puts our own motives into perspective, huh?

I took three choices or I guess I should say excuses from the article and think I'm going to use them for my goals or the ideas to keep me focused. Ideas to go back to when I get off track etc.
1. Do something every day that you don't want to do.
2. Make the right choices and don't put that "stuff" in your body. (Dr. Phil's wife literally calls sugar poison and think that is a good way to look at it. Also that commercial where the woman has two donuts stuck to her but. lol)
3. Make time to exercise.
Simple and easy!
