What healthy diet substitution have you made lately? Before the holidays I was using splenda in my coffee at work, but since we've been back there's been none. So back to sugar for me. And the awful thing is that here, at home, I don't have any sugar/splenda for my coffee. I really just need to leave it be at school too.

And what treat will you NOT substitute the "diet" alternative for? Tough one....not really a treat, but I don't think I'll go 'down' anymore in milk. I use 2% right now, quite happy with it, and if I crave a glass of it I don't feel like I'm drinking watered down milk- ugh!

I ran out of milk and had black coffee yesterday and today!!! How cool is that?

What healthy diet substitution have you made lately? I have started baking sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes. They're pretty good too, and I just add some cinnamon and nutmeg, and a little butter, instead of the pile of sour cream I just have to put on my regular baked potatoe.

And what treat will you NOT substitute the "diet" alternative for? I'd have to say ice cream. I never got into frozen yogurt although I do like regular yogurt. Ice cream has always been a treat mom and I enjoyed, nearly every evening in the summer when I was young. I do't have it too often now, but when I do have it, I want some good stuff.

I have gone down to 2% milk as well. I gave 1% a try, but I thik 2% is my limit. I am definitely not doing skim milk.

(splenda for sugar, whole wheat pasta for regular, etc.)

Well, I now use splenda for sugar in my coffee, and try to use whole wheat pasta for regular pasta.
