Book or magazine recommendations?

I'm looking for workout books or fitness magazines that have practical advice for weight lifting and toning. I need pictures to help me get the positions right.

I'd especially love a book that shows how to use all the crazy gym equipment with all the pulleys and attachments.

Any recommendations?

I absolutely love Fitness magazine, Oxygen is really good too and they show proper form for lifting.

I'd get the book body for life for practical advice regarding lifting.

Thanks to both of you. Good recommendations!

I have just reached a plateau in my fitness goals, so I am looking for new ideas. Might be time for a personal trainer session as well.

I think if you can afford a few personal trainer sessions they can really be worth it.

I like lifting, too, and my personal favourite magazine is Muscle & Fitness Hers. They have everything, but do focus alot on using weightlifting to speed up metabolism and add some muscle tone. But not like to pros on ESPN or anything. More like triathletes and fitness models and stuff.... The only bad thing is they are issued every 2 months. I also like the special magazines that Oxygen puts out, focusing on one area. The newest one I found, Listed as Winter 2006, is about fat loss. It's a good read and very informative....
