I have to say, I'm glad I'm doing it right. The ONLY thing I do "wrong" is standing on the sides to get a quick drink. BTW, I don't do well, with walking and drinking, so stopping is better for my "safety".
I don't hold on. I run with a natural gait (as much as I can on a treadmill). I run at 1% or 2% depending on how well I'm doing. Oh, and I work myself maybe too much.
