QOTW- Baby Steps!

I saw this this morning, and had a thought.......

Want to lose 30 pounds or have killer abs? Great, but remember: Every long journey starts with one step. By focusing on smaller, incremental targets unrelated to results -- say, following through on a promise to walk a little every day at lunch for a week -- you'll feel a sense of achievement early and more often. Big goals take time to reach, and focusing on them too soon may do more harm than good.

Here's my thought:

My Baby Steps are coming along too-- mine were about getting onto the bike four times this week. I'm halfway there ;-)

I agree with IG, 10 pm is way to late for me, good job!! Also, hang in their with the carb thing. It does take awhile but eventually you will get to where you don't want those refined foods I promise and I think eliminating one or two things is the way to go.

I have a goal of actually getting started by doing 10 push-ups and 20 curnches a day.

Good for you! I think those pushups and crunches are great baby steps. You'll be surprised how quickly your abs will strengthen.

I sure do hope so. I don't have much stomach muscle on my left side due to a surgery when I was 3. I can usually lose the fat, however it is really had to firm the area. I was told by a Doctor that my best shot to have the flat tummy would be to have plastic surgery.

Great Baby Step to take Steffy! (Even if it is near the end of the week.....idea was to start somewhere you were falling behind on anyway!)
