Okay, I just got home from school. Its 10pm. because I go right after work, I dn't have time to eat dinner. I did eat tuna and crackers, which held me off, but I'm hungry.

Help me out everyone. What would be a somewhat healthy late night dinner, that is somewhat fast and light? Even if its' apples w/peanut butter. I need suggestions. lol. Cuz I know I can't come home and eat a DINNER.

Help!

That's a tricky one Cher......do you have time to at least have lunch as your main meal?? My first thought was to perhaps have some cereal, or cheese and crackers. It's a little early for me to be thinking, lol-- I'll give it some more thought during the day. Hopefully some of our other ladies will have more ideas to think about ;-)

What about scrambling up a few eggs.

I don't get home late every night, but when I go to HKD I do. Those are the nights that I will sometimes have the frozen Lean Cuisine dinners. They aren't bad to use in a pinch like that, and they are pretty good and small enough that you won't go to bed feeling like you ate a huge meal. If I don't grab one of those, I sometimes have cottage and an apple or grapes or baby carrots. I love cottage though; some people aren't too fond of it. You could make a yogurt parfait with low fat vanilla yogurt, or whatever flavor you like, and some strawberries and low fat granola.

Another thing I like to do is cook some stuff on Saturday afternoon. That way, I can mcirowave it when I get home,

Eggs are a great idea.....

Cher~ some other things I thought of; a grilled cheese sambo! (Or my recent craze, using tortilla's instead of bread!) Even some soup and crackers......

Some of those Lean Cuisine's can be quite tasty! And you're right they're not too big at all-- good point!

Actually, lunch is ALWAYS my main BIG meal. So, I don't tend to get hungry for dinner anyways, until 6-7ish (I do work until 5:30pm though). I also wonder what I can eat HERE at work, BEFORE school. Like, I think that tuna held me off, cuz I wasn't HUNGRY when I got home from school, but I was hungry.

Cereal sounds good. However......I am on antibiotics for another two weeks, and I can't have dairy 3 hours prior or after taking the pill, so that's out. But afterwards, that could be a good choice. :)

I'm not big on cheese and crackers, but hey, if it's good enough, why not. lol.

Not bad. Doesn't take too long either. That's pretty fast and easy, overall. LOL. I hate cooking, but yes, good idea. I'll write that one down too.

Wow. NEver would've thought of those. lol. The lean cuisine things, I could go for. Fast, easy, trashable, and small. :) I hope to get my portion size down again too.

Not big on cottage cheese, but yogurt sounds good too. with granola. Just need to find some healthy granola. :) strawberries would be awesome, but too much work to keep fresh and sliced and/or in a bag. :)

thanks.

Soup may take too long, and besides, having a "small bladder", I don't want to stay up. The only other reason I'm thinking, no cereal. lol.

Grilled cheese sambo? What's sambo? like grilled cheese sandwich? lol. Love tortillas. I'd grill that and PB, yum.
