Great. I mean just great. It is the month of LOOOOOVE. You know. The single gals fave month EVER. So I'll throw in a few mushy-related tid bits just to keep any of you romantics happy! LOL Anyways, I'll start posting these Bits and Pieces once a month with some links that I've come across on various fitness sites, and magazine sites!
From Healthy Alberta (This is a section on our provincial goverment website that has loads of tips and links to other sites!)

Valentine's Day
You can fall in love for the first time or all over again with help from CanadianLiving.com. You'll find advice for bringing you and your partner closer together, shopping tips to help you find the perfect gift, craft ideas from the heart, and romantic menus a plenty.http://www.canadianliving.com/CanadianLiving/client/en/Today/SpecialFeature.asp?idSF=137&idSM=85
Get your kids (and you) walking and running (this has a great link to a 10 week walk/run program!)
A walk/run program is a fun way to stay activ. Watching television, playing video games and typing at the computer: If these are your children's ideas of extracurricular activities, they're choosing sedentary activities to take over their spare time. This could quickly lead to unhealthy habits that are hard to break.http://www.canadianliving.com/CanadianLiving/client/en/Health/DetailNews.asp?idNews=233434

Food resolutions!
How to eat more – and better than ever – in 2006. Every New Year's Eve, I resolve to be better. Usually this entails a whole life makeover (with a hefty focus on losing weight). My resolve usually lasts about two days – then I binge on forbidden foods and kick myself for committing to that down payment-size gym membership. So this year I'm trying something new: the non-resolution. Instead of focusing on eating less, I'm going to focus on eating more – but better.http://www.chatelaine.com/foodrecipes/article.jsp?content=20051206_155808_4972
