I was watching the biggest loser last week and I noticed something, which is kind of funny. When they bring the teams out for the first time the women are wearing blue or red sport bras the ones that end right underneath your breasts and either red or blue shorts. Their stomaches are hanging out for all the world to see. When they go to be weighed after the 10 days. They are wearing the longer shirts that cover their stomaches and they are wearing black (slimming) shorts. Same when they come in for the final weigh in. Not a big deal expet it makes it look like they lost more than they did and it makes it easier for real life people to get discouraged. Sorry had to vent.

I understand what you are saying. I think they want to maintain the illusion that somehow they look great. We all know even if you are at your "goal" weight we still have some figure falls we would rather not show the world. Be it stretch marks or how your skin can sag after losing a lot of weight. They are using the clothes to enhancement their weight lose.

Jamie Lee Curtis did a whole bit, wish I could remember for what magazine, where she dressed in sports bra and bike shorts and posed for pictures with out any enhancement so that people could see she and most "glamorous" people are air brushed and/or dressed to show off their best assets and hide their flaws.

Oooo found it here is a link: (she still looks pretty good to me.)

Ah.....reality TV, right?? I actually noticed the full t-shirts on the ladies in the original show. I actually haven't been watching the new ones.

Guess it's all for ratings!
