Hi I am new here and just wanted to introduce myself. I am married with 3 kids. I have let the pound creep on me over the past 2 years. Now I need to take them off!
I have not been able to resolve to do this so I am hoping that by posting here I will have continued support from like minded women. I need to shed about 25 pounds :( I have recently cut my ice cream habit considerably so I am glad to say that by limiting ice cream I have lost about 2 pounds int he past 2 weeks. Now I neded to improve eating habits and start exercising.

Welcome! Im new here too, but the support already has been so generous. You found the right place! 25 lbs really isnt much weight to lose in comparison with what some women are struggling with. If you lost 2 lbs just by cutting back on ice cream....Im' jealous! I have about 20 lbs to lose myself, but more importantly, I want to gain back some of my youthful energy. I just started excersizing and it feels really good....OK, its hard, but I feel proud! Keep up the good work; baby steps!

That's wonderful that with that one baby step you took you managed to lose 2lbs.....now just imagine what will happen with a few more baby steps! Making those small changes over time DOES help!! It doesn't have to be the all or nothing routine ;-)
