Alright.....so I needed something to get me going again! Now some of you who know me know that I own quite a few Leslie Sansone walking tapes, and when I was working out religiously I loved them. Perhaps part of the problem was that I got bored with them. Or maybe it wasn't......

Today I got two more (I know, but I figured I already like the way she does the workouts and rather than get something that I won't enjoy at all get something I'm familiar with).

The ones I have already are:
Walk away the pounds for ABS (with resistance

Good for you! Hope you get a chance to try them soon. I think even if you get bored with them it's handy to have them on hand for when the mood strikes. Kind of like having healthy snacks around. If it's available your more like to grab a healthy snack and/or a work out.

Thanks Gretchen-- you know I have a lot of video's and none of them were calling out to me for use, so it was time to get something new. Plus now that my DVD is acutally hooked up the VCR doesn't work anymore...LOL, so much for men knowing what they are doing. I had ButterCup install the thing, and he couldn't figure out how to have the two working together!!

Very cool! I've never even heard of thios woman before...I'll have to check it out. What is an elastic waistband?

The elastic waistband is literally that, though the waist part is not elasticated. There are two straps that come off the belt, and at the end of each one there is a handle. You do all sorts of stretching up, across, down, etc...while walking along with the tape. Doesn't sound like it would make much of an impact, but it did! And gave me enough confidence to wear tank tops with my 'defined' (in my opinion, lol) arms!!

Well my back was rather achey yesterday (TOM is here!!) so decided to just try out the upper body workout routine on the ball DVD. Not only does she use the ball, but you use hand weights too (which luckily I had). It was pretty good, I did feel the "burn" and was about 20mins long.

I will keep you updated on the others as they're used ;-)

I'm a dumdum with a dumdum question. The walking videos - are they for walking in place or for treadmill use? I do treadmill 5-6 days a week and am always looking for ways not to get bored out of my mind!

I saw the Walk & Jog (Interval training) one on the collage video site, I think it was, and it interested me. I think it would work for those days that it's just too cold to get out and do the walk/run thing. I'll be interested to read your review of it. I'm not familiar with the other one; I'm about to go back and look at the link.

I like her stuff too.
