I dont remember the last time I had a flu like this, but WOW do I feel awful. I was just getting so into my workout, my healthy habbits, my new attitude...sitting in my bed on my laptop, staring at my stairclimber, I feel so discouraged. This has happened before; does a change like this trigger a cold/flu? I cant eat anything, and Im sure I'll gain a pound just like mom2minnie did. UGH!

And my birthday is Saturday...I BETTER BE FEELING BETTER BY SATURDAY!

K, Im finished complaining...

I agree being sick can be so discouraging. Particularly when your all psyched up and ready to go. Take it easy and you'll be up in no time!.

Sending you {{{{GET WELL VIBES}}}}!

Even though you WANT to get up and make sure you fit in your exercise, remember that your body needs time and energy to concentrate on healing itself - so drink lots, rest lots, and you will be back on your feet before you know it.

I'm in the same boat, I was doing real good about doing my exercise at the gym and eating right and I have a horrible sore throat and my chest hurts. I can't exercise at all and I had just gotten to below 180 first time in a long time, and now I can't do anything. I'm going to see if I can go by next Monday. Hang in there we will get there.

Mia-

Sorry to hear that the "crud" has hit you too. I'm still feeling kinda blah but refuse to spend the rest of the week on the couch so I'm just doing small things. You just have to listen to your body & take it easy. You will start to feel better & get back to your schedule - it just takes a little time.

I hope you're well enough to enjoy your birthday this Saturday.

Thanks ladies for your vibes...I do a feel a little better today and actually slept through the night which helped. (Probobly cause my DH drugged me, but whatever LOL) My tummy is finally settling a bit.

I keep looking at the stair climber, eager to get back up there. Maybe tomorrow I'll do 5 min. or so and try to stay in the swing of things...

We'll see.

Ugh, Mia, I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling 100%...but as the others have said, listen to your body, you will know when you're ready to hop back onto the stairmaster.

As for the weekend---- sending a TONNE of GET WELL VIBES for a HEALTHY Happy Birthday :-)
