Okay ladies, it's semi-official. I am getting married in about 11 weeks. I sooooo want to lose about 20lbs.

I soooo need help on how to do this. I hope bf will be okay with me running more on the weekends, because I need to exercise.

So, what do I need to do, to lose that much weight? I swear, I'm going to do this. I refuse to weigh this much when I say "I do". I REFUSE!!!

I have to kick this into overdrive, without driving myself into the ground. I know I can't just jump into this, but at the same time, I also know I need to get the ball rolling, big time.

Any suggestions? Let's see. Do cardio (30-60mins/day???? yikes). Do weights (which will help burn faster). Eat less calories. Am I missing anythign to get this done....besides starving?

Oh I know it's going to be a very fast journey. with school, I talked to the prof, I"m going to have to go on an accelerated schedule so I can take the final prior to leaving on the honeymoon. :) So, even worse. And I have another class that starts next month, I'm thinking of talking to the prof NOW, cuz who knows what'll happen then. yikes! So much to do.

Budget, moving, planning, buying, losing weight, school. Seems like this should be a no-brainer, huh? lol.

Oh, good one, cutting out carbs. I think I need to do that a lot. However, i seem to love my sandwiches for lunch, so maybe tues/thur i can choose other things when i eat out, and make better choices on the weekend. hmmmmm...........

thanks for that tidbit. working on the water. and boy, i'm sleeping well now.....now that i'm working out again. :) zzzzzzzzzzz sound asleep. nice.

Honestly the only way that I lost alot of weight in a short amount of time was to increase my excersise past what was a normal hour workout. What I mean is, in your off time aside from the hour of cardio you do at the gym 5 days a week, maybe for recreation you can go to a public swimming pool, golf course, or any other venue that encourages a bit of excersise. You and your SO can talk about your plans together while treading water, walking the course, walking around a track or your neighborhood, walk around the mall, anything except over dinner or sitting on the couch. Then you can snack on veggies or fruit when you come in. Just keep moving even in your off time, nothing stressful, but something that will count in a small way. When I was in college I did my classes, worked my evening job as a waitress, then in my off-time I went to the public swimming pool or I walked around the mall and window shopped for a few hours. I was doing it mostly for stress relief but it had a way of bumping up my metabolism and distracting me from going into the kitchen and snacking away nerves and stress which I will do when I am under anxiety. Good luck! You can do it!

Thanks. Gawd that seems like a lot. But you're right. That's the only way. Eat less, burn more. I wrote this in my journal, but i'm posting this for everyone to see, in case I kick the bucket. lol.

I am going to try a weight-loss supplement. I don't usually try them because they make me jittery and my heart rate is already high when i exercise, I don't need to keel over. KWIM?

So, i ordered total lean by gnc. i think it's gnc. lol.

I figured, maybe it'll help me boost things. get things moving. something to get me losing weight, kinda fast, and then me working out too. I dont' really want to lose 20lbs. i mean, it'd be great, but i'd like to lose at least 15. :) so, i figured, give me some help. and if i do everythign else pretty darn good (food, exercise), i should lose the 20 i'm hoping for assuming that stuff works and doesn't kill me.

I'll keep eveyrone posted. thanks for all the suggestions. they've all been wonderful. and i'm trying to do all of them, without overloading myself too.

Okay Cher, that looks interesting, it seems to just be mostly caffeine and no ephedra, which is a good thing.

Yeah, let's see what the caffeine does to me. lol. It seemed to be overall well taken. so we'll see. I figured, $20, not bad. Better than $40 for somethign like TrimSpa. Although maybe I can be thin like Anna-Nicole. Then I was thinking, Jenny Craig, but that's massively expensive. So, $20, was worth a try.
