ok today i went for a walk. i usualy go to the mall for my walk and today i went hungry,
bad idea i ate a chaocolae banna muffin not a good start. after muffin i walked around but was distracted by the opening of the mall so i went int o dillards and looked at all the pretty things instead of my walk. well i feel that these 20 lbs that i wlould like to loose by july maybe harder then i thought i need Will Power.

No worries on the spelling, I don't even bother looking at mine anymore, I just assume everyone will know what I'm talking about!! LOL
Good job on getting to the mall - maybe tell yourself you have to do one mall lap before going into any stores - you know set up a little reward system.
I agree with Gretchen- you got out there, and did it; for the most part! Miranda's suggestion of doing one lap of the mall BEFORE getting distracted by muffins and stores is a great one.
A pedometer measures how far you walk (in steps, or miles) you can even get some that measure the calories burned. They're usually quite easy to find (I found mine at KMart for a relatively low price).
