What is the one thing you're surprised to learn that you like about exercising?

I was surprised that walking produced some very good results in a fairly short amount of time. I thought if I wasn't atleast jogging it wouldn't do anything for me. I was wrong. I actually feel better walking for an hour rather than jogging for 30 minutes. I feel energized whereas jogging just makes me tired and overly hungary.

I was surprised how good fresh veggies can taste with the right dipping sauces. I have tried green mango slices with cucumber in wasabi-vinegar sauce. It's really good!! Also cucumber with lemon/salt/chili powder...another really tasty dish. You don't have to be limited to ranch dressing on everything, you can use plum sauce, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar....
Oh those dips sounds fabulous!!
