Here's to good posture

One thing I wanted to mention is posture. Good posture goes a long
way and its harder than you think to correct but I think well worth
the little extra effort.
I always had good posture until about a few years ago. Coinciding, of
course, with my lack of physical fitness and steady weight gain.
But lately I've noticed what good posture can do for you. I've been
really conscious bout my posture lately. I've been sitting up
straight at my desk making sure my abs are pulled tight to my spine
and that I'm sitting on my (generously lol) cushy bootie cheeks and
not on my tail bone (which was causing me A LOT of pain and even some
tingling in my legs when sitting over a long period of time).
But also walking and standing. Stand in front of a mirror with your
regular street clothes on and suck and tuck. Look at yourself from
the side and front.
I'm telling you that I must look 10-15 lbz lighter when i suck and
tuck! Not only does it make you appear thinner but you're constantly
working your ab muscles.
It is also great for lower back pain if you suffer from it.
Unfortunately if you've let your posture go as bad as I had then you
may experience pretty decent lower back pain while your getting used
to your new and imporoved posture.
Mine did but it was only a matter of about a week and then I felt
great.
Hope this helps. Trust me you don't look like some slouchy frump when
you stand tall and streamlined! This good posture demands respect
and makes us look & feel more confident overall.
Here's to good posture!

I totally agree Jen!
Every achievement starts with a little legwork!
