I Jazzercised 4 times a week and ate a healthy diet (well balanced, good foods only - every once in a while I allowed myself to cheat). I sought out the American Health Association for tips on what eating a healthy diet meant and how to choose foods when you eat out http://www.americanheart.org and drank plenty of WATER (did you know you are supposed to drink half your weight in ounces each day - for example if you weight 160 lbs you are supposed to drink 80oz of water)... Sometimes if you don't drink enough water you might think you're hungry and eat more when really you're thirsty and you need water. I also wrote down what I ate every day in a journal and weighed myself every week. I used to drink A LOT of soda, and I've cut down on that to no more than 1 a day.
