You ladies would be soooo proud....

I woke up late this morning, so I didn't get a chance to make my lunch. Since my phone died, and I have school tonight, I decided to go home, save money, charge up my phone, and eat lunch there.

BUT

I didn't stop there. Nooooo.......I decided I will workout. So, I did about 15 minutes of aerobics. My legs are sooo weak, probably because I didn't get a proper warm-up/cool-down in. However, I plan on walking around at work some for the next hour, to loosen up my legs. BTW, with all the water I drank at lunch, and still drinking, my walks will be to the bathroom. I'll try to do my push-ups there, but who knows, my arms are tired too. lol.

I worked out, showered, made my lunch and brought it back with me to work. I also grabbed a Lean Cuisine to eat here before I go to class. So that way, I don't eat too late after class. AND I am planning on doing ANOTHER 15-30 mins of aerobics tonight (we'll see how tired I am). right now, I feel absolutely wonderful.

I'm going to TRY to make it a habit to go home for lunch. Preferbly, already have my lunch made on the days I bring lunch (mon/wed) and work out for 15-20 mins. I feel tired, but good. Darn that exercise. lol.

Anyhow. I'm going to try to keep this up, because I really like feeling UP. And well, it'll help burn and help me do some activity on my school nights. :)

If anyone has any exercise/food tips regarding what I'm doing, by all means, post away!!! Otherwise, I had to post, cuz I was so proud. I thought about it, and I actually DID it.

Good for you Cher! I too have been going home for lunch more because I have no money more than anything but I have saved so many calories and money by doing this. Keep it up!

This weekend. Wow. It was REALLY busy. I think I wrote about it Monday's questions. However, a quick run down.

Friday: Drove to LA to see the jeweler about my ring (had some issues), drove back down to where I am to see the seamstress. Then home (about 100 miles). K came home, we went to go look at this apartment complex....which led to the theme of the weekend.

Saturday: Ohmigod. We drove to the apartment and home like 3 times. I was so irate. lol. On the upside, we watched his neice's soccor game. She's so cute. And she's pretty good too.

Sunday: More apartment looking and a craft show. Then cleaning. I didn't even do the laundry (again....which btw, i am sooo glad the new apt we found has a w/d in it, which means, no waiting to do laundry, that's why i didn't do mine sunday, it was too busy).

Man oh man. I'm not getting in any exercise. Kinda eating badly and definitely not getting enough water on the weekends, but at least a LOT is getting done before the wedding. It's going to be a busy May, however, everything is in place. :) I will be ready for our honeymoon, I can tell you that much. hehehe.

I'm hoping I keep this up. I know I tend to burn out by Thursday (I mean, who wouldn't I'm busy crazy busy Mon-Wed). lol.

LOL. I hear ya. I have $7 for tomorrow's lunch. I get paid wednesday, yay! I soo need the money....to pay bills and buy food. So, a good way to save money, lose weight, and save on calories. Definitely!!!! Congrats to you too for cutting back....even if it's more like mandatory. :)

You did the best thing to keep you motivated. You gave yourself a well earned pat on the back. Way to go!

We often forget to praise ourselves for our successes. But we are the first to critique. Take it one day at a time and the week will handle itself.

So very true. and thanks. And you're right, one day at a time. I will do that. Everyday, start over, and do what I can. :)

Way to go, good for you. Having lunch at home is a good thing, saves money, saves lots of calories and gives you a chance to do what you want to do away from work. I like lunch at home.

It's funny. Class was cancelled last night, and I should've either worked out or worked on my school work. I did neither. Although, it was nice. I surfed for
