Okay, 5 weeks and counting....help

Okay, I have 5 weeks until Hawaii. I have realized, I don't care about weight, per se, but I want my thinner face back. Which means I have to lose some fat. If I start running again, say 4 times a week, 30 mins each at least. Do you think I could lose enough fat, in 5 weeks, to change my body a bit? I don't mean drastic. Just so my clothes are looser.
Sadly, things are getting MORE busy as the time goes on, so I HAVE to find time to run. Ugh! I know running is the fastest way to tone up.
So, besides diet. Do you think 5 weeks is enough to reshape my body a little.....I should post some pics of my face now.....and back in December. I tend to lose from my face pretty fast, but I'm not sure what "fast" is. lol. I figure, if I can lose some in my face, my wedding photos won't make me feel so bad, versus seeing my round chubby face in them. Bleah.

I agree. I think you could make a decent amount of progress in five weeks.
It is hard to get the long workouts in I'm used to, but I just have to fit them in when I can. I have started packing and moving my stuff too, and basically it's after work that I pack, which is when I exercise too. Just means I don't watch TV from 8:00-8:30 'til 10:00 in the evenings like I used to, or not sitting down anyway. Need to get in my walk/run and then pack after eating something. Will you be moving after your wedding or are you guys already together in a place?
Oh gawd, we're like on the same type of schedule. Nope, my move is somewhat planned for May 6. So, I haven't even started pakcing, however, I do have my apt until May 31.
I just know, I have a LOT LOT LOT going on. I'm just sooo grateful the whole trip and wedding is planned and done. Because I seroiusly, would be freaking out big time. lol.
VENTING and BITCHING:
See, here's my problem.....Monday is school until 10pm. Tuesday is golf until 8pm (which if it doesn't rain on Tuesday's, my last class will be 4/25). Wednesday is school again until 10pm. Now, if I could get my fat butt to the treadmill TH, FRI, SAT, SUN, we'd be good, y'know. But DF is here Fri-Sun, so I do absolutely nothing. I have to push him aside or something. Actually, sicne we're supposed to run that 5k in August, maybe I'll make him go with me.

Okay, I am going to post here so you guys have to keep me motivated. Ohmigod. This is going to be soooo hard. But I'm hoping that with exercising, i'll get more energy to use, because I really need it. I needed to vent again, all my crap. I have a list in front of me of things to do, there's about a dozen things to do on my list, and well, I have a calendar with stuff on it too. I'm trying to be more organized, while I go thru my nutty period. And to make things crazier, I have an exam Wednesday, and they're not easy. We're talking.....essay form answers. :(

What do you know....I ran tonight. I set the treadmill for 45 mins. Dang, with warm-up and cool-down, I made it to 35 mins. Oh well. Gotta start off slowly. Today, I picked up some amino acids. My co-worker said it should help with recovery time...as in speed it up a bit. I was also told to up my protein. So, I'm back to my shakes. I'm going to try and replace at least one meal...for the time being. Weekdays, it'll be dinner. Weekends, most likely breakfast or lunch.
I'm going to aim for 45 mins, and 4 times a week. I am hoping, to get at least 30 mins in 3 times a week. I like to aim high, remember? lol.
I hope you ladies don't mind, but I think I'm going to kinda post things up here more...I notice when I post up here more, I'm more motivated because I see it all the time. Not a journal per se, but maybe more questions, comments, ideas, etc.
Thanks for the responses. Everyone agrees that I should be able to change my shape a bit, maybe no actual weight loss (due to muscle gain), but my clothes should fit better in 5 weeks. :)
Let's do this. Maybe I'll start my own challenge. lol. I think I'll make a journal out of it. I'm so lame, I know, but this is what happens when I run, I'm psyched up and i'm ready to go for it. dear gawd, someone just slap me.
I do not envy you, dealing with school in addition to all of this stuff. As far as the weekend with your SO, you may just have to excuse yourself and get some exercise. Exercise isn't a priority for my SO either. He had told me that he would walk with e last Sunday, but the Masters was on TV, so I knew that wasn't happening. I just went for a walk and enjoyed the day. When I go to HKD on Friday evening, SO hangs out at the bar and plays these video games that have scores recorded to compete with others across SE Michigan (he has won a few things). Maybe these guys will get up and join us someday, but if they don't, I guess we'll have to keep going ourselves.

Thanks. It is hard when K keeps saying, "let's play tennis, then plops on the couch and yup, watches the Masters". We also have been running around a lot lately. This weekend will be no different. Maybe I should not go to Easter dinner, and just stay home and study. Ugh. I dunno. I may think about that.
Well, sadly, K wants to run a 5k in August. I can bet you around 2 weeks prior, he'll start running. then run the race and finish within 30 mins...whereas I'll train for weeks and finish nowhere near 30. :( Men suck. lol.
BTW, I noticed your ticker is down to "days". Are you excited? Nervous? ready to get it over with? Is this your first marriage/wedding?

As far as the move, definitely ready for that to be over with. I really don't like moving. I am excited, but it's kind of, well, I think it hasn't quite "hit" me yet. I'm one of those poeple who does what needs to be done. I have lists that I make and update and cross off and change and stuff. I'm one of those people who likes the details. I hope I've taken the time to enjoy the journey too.
I am wondering how I'll feel on the morning of the wedding when all of the lists are checked off and there's nothing else to buy and no one else to call, and it's just the morning of our wedding. I'll have to get my hair done, but other than that, that's it. I think that I may be nervous on that day. This is my first wedding, so I don't really know how I'll feel. I hope it's my only, but everyone does. It's his second.
Planning is going pretty well. Always another detail comes to my mind. I'll be glad when they're all taken care of. I hope it's a nice day.
You indicated in one of your posts that your planning is pretty much taken care of, correct? Are you guys going away for a while?
Ah, that's what I'm doing now. Lists, lists, lists. ONly because it's the only thing that'll keep me focused and on track. I'm somewhat detailed. I can crack down on the details, but unless I write them down, I forget what they are. lol. Bad.
