Do you ever find yourself standing at the stove, oven, microwave, counter....waiting on something to fininsh cooking? Well, I got to thinking, this is one of the few times my daughter usually finds something to do on her own, my husband is busy doing something else, and I am alone in the kitchen. So....I started keeping my 8 lb. weights in the kitchen, I pick them up and do several reps of curls, lateral raises, etc. while I am cooking dinner. Its a great boost right before eating (mental and physical), a time saver, and my arms are already toning up after just two weeks of this.
Just thought I would share. If your like me, you need all the help you can get! Good luck!! Jodi

Great tip... and you don't have to stop there. While you have those weights in your hands do some calf raises and squats.... Actually you don't even need weights for calf raises and squats done properly they can be effective all on their own.

Good idea, sometimes we have to get that exercise in where we can.
Thanks ladies!!
I read that and laughed, lol.... because my three children NEVER leave me alone in the kitchen. If I'm cooking, the girls are begging to help (and arguing over who will get to do what) and my toddler is wrapped around my leg crying.... lol. The only thing I get to exercise in the kitchen is patience...ha.
