Staying Focused

Hello everyone,
I am having such a hard time staying focused lately and am afraid that I let the ten pds go to my head. Clothes are starting to fit but yet I have taken this time to not be so diligent! Very bad of me! What keeps me somewhat motivated is the thought of getting all excited about loosing the weight and then seeing the looks on people's faces when I have gained it all back! So any ideas - any sparks of motivation to get my ass off this chair! I am going to the gym - but my hearts just not in it. I want to loose another 24pds so your thoughts are always welcomed!

I needed this post so much right now! Thanks for hitting the nail on the head for me. I'm going to go through all the suggestions the other ladies made and see if I can start implementing some of them today!

Wow, just like Gretchen this is hitting the nail with the hammer. I used to be so good and worked out every morning. Then life happened. LOL. I'm trying to get myself up to work out in the a.m. but when 5:00 comes around, I'm hitting the snooze button. I tried everything, setting the alarm earlier, etc. At first I thought my problem was my sinuses. I wasn't breathing at night so I was tired in the morning because I wasn't getting enough oxygen. That problem has been corrected, thankfully. The problem now I'm having is that its a habit for me to hit that button. Keep in mind that I can get up at 5:00 a.m. and be out the door by 6:30 a.m. to drive 2 hours for an appt. with a patient and his/her medical provider, but I can't get up at 5:00 a.m. to work out? I have to treat working out like an appointment. Schedule the time like an appt. I just read a great article on IVillage I saw on the MSN website I'm hoping will help. Plus I'm making this a priority. Even if I can't get up and work out because of an appt., at least I can make sure I take the time to work out.
