What age do you feel? Why?

  • - still in my teens!
  • - twenty something ;-)
  • - younger than my actual age :-)
  • - older than my actual age :-(
  • - my own age!
  • - who cares? Age is irrelevant!

I think I feel younger than my age, because I see some VERY old 30 somethings around and I know darn well that I feel more fit, active, and enthusiasic about things than they do.

I voted who care.....but my real answer is who knows....how exactly should a 32 yr. old feel?

I think it also depends on the day and what I have going on...if I'm working out,, if I'm getting enough sleep, I'f I'm eating right or eating junk...

LOL- I know....what does a 34yr really feel like?? One of the reasons I asked was because when people ask me how old I always go to say 27 for some reason.....then reality hits!!

Again, the day to day thing is a factor too. Just thought it would be interesting to see what we all thought of ourselves ;-)

Interesting to see many of us feel younger than our actual age!

So, how old do you feel

I voted older than my age. Why? Are you ready for the vent? Here goes...............

Because I've always never remembered anything. Short-term memory sucks big time. I've been falling apart since I was a teen. My knees ache, my back aches, my skin is jacked up (all sensitive with eczema now, somethign I have NEVER had in my life until recently). I have stupid herpes on my thumb. MY THUMB!! HOW do you get herpes on your thumb? WTF! Don't even ask, I have no clue. I am having skin issues, I noticed I have dandruff a lot. :( I have tendonitis in my wrists, shoulder, knees. I have plantar fascitis (another that started recnetly).

I'm impressed I don't have diabetes, high blood pressure, or cardio issues (as it runs in my family). I will say, YET probably follows those things. I do want to get my weight under more control to make sure I don't get diabetes. My blood pressure actually runs low, but the nurse said that doesn't matter, if high for me is normal for everyone else, it's still high.

I am in a class full of 20 year olds. remember my psych class? we had to give our age to the prof for an experiment. yeah, i am literally the OLDEST person in class at 31. all others range from 18-29. so that didn't help knowing that information.

I'm falling apart, I"m out of shape again (as least for walking up those darn stairs). I have "women" issues....remember that damned colposcopy vent? i have precancerous cells. WTF!!! so they're going to watch that. i have "leakage" issues. i have to wake up in the middle of the night to pee (imagine me at 60, i think it'll be a few times a night).

I guess upon reflection I'm a little like you Gretchen.....there are some things I feel so young/naive/dumb about, and then others I feel I'm about where 'most' my age are, and then others of course where I'm streets ahead of you all ;-)

Mostly though I feel like a woman in her 30's, her early 30's!!!!

Oh Cher....I'm sorry to laugh, but that was funny to read. You have SO much going on right now, and well I know you can't feel that bad about yourself, right??

As for the herpes on your thumb, no comment! Girl!!!

You know as I read on though I did see many of the things I deal with too: dry scalp, wrist tendonitis (occasionally), plantar wart (sp??) on right foot, back aches....so you're certainly not alone.

It's just a 30's thang ;-)
