My Reading Journal
Congratulations Lorie!!!
Thank you, ladies. I should have pictures maybe by tomorrow, so I can post a few. The pictures DH's DD took with his digital camera are on his flash drive. He will be bringing it to download when he can. His office is working at a charity golf outing today, in the rain.
I'll post details shortly as well.
Woohoo!!!
Hey Lorie I was just going to ask about your Honeymoon, but I see you're going to Florida in 17 days!!
OMG, I see your ticker is at five days. It seems like forever ago that mine was at "five days til our wedding day."
I think I'll just post a short recap of the events, but I was wondering how things are going for you. Are you ready? And of course, everyone's favorite question, are you nervous?
It's kind of a strange thing. In a way, it seems like the last week goes on forever, but in a way, it's time to walk down the aisle and before you know it, you've said your vows and your married.
Good luck to you both. It'll be great.
Can't wait to read the recap. As for myself, I think I'm ready. Although, I'll be honest, I am starting to freak out. Remmeber, this is #3 for me. Sometimes I lie there and think, am I doing the right thing? Especially now that we live together? It's been an adjustment, and we're still adjusting, however, it's been pretty smooth so far.
#3 is scaring me....but yet, i feel good about this. it's weird. i have no doubts.......and the only doubts i have are within me....saying, don't screw this one up too. kwim? lol.
5 days seemed long ago? heck, last i remmeber, mine was over a month. lol. where HAS the time gone. jeez.
I didn't want to change my mind or call it off or anything, but I too wondered if I were doing the right thing, or maybe better put, if I would be any good at marriage, if we would end up hating each other someday, if I were really meant to be with someone.
When I walked down the aisle, or before when I saw him standing there, and when we made the promises to each other, though, I knew I was doing the right thing.
I'm sure you've grown and matured from your past experiences. You will be ready.
Good luck to you both.
