QOTW: How does your Diet change?

Hey ladies, I know when I go grocery shopping I find a lot of different stuff in the stores this time of year, and I actually feel like eating different things when it's warmer or colder.
So how about you?
Do you eat differently at different times of the year?

Do you eat differently at different times of the year?
Yep. We eat lots more fresh foods & BBQ in the summer.
Does it depend on what's in stores?
Pretty much. Once the fruits get ripe & cheap I buy lots of them.
Do you cook more at certain times of the year, or go out more?
We tend to go out about the same regardless of the time of year. We do end up using the BBQ all summer though. I never cook, that's DH's job!

Hmmm. . . I suppose so. More salads and cold items as the weather becomes warmer. Definitely more soups in the winter!!

Not really, I think the stores down here pretty much have the same things year-round. Or at least I think they do ;-)

Go out more during holidays- especially summer and Christmas when I have the most time off.
Moderation IS Key!

Do you eat differently at different times of the year? In the summer, we grill. We also eat more veggies, more fresh ones anyway, because we can actually afford to buy stuff like bell peppers and tomatoes. In the winter, DH makes chili and pasta sauce - a bit more "heavy" stuff, stews too.
Does it depend on what's in stores? It sometimes depends on what's on sale or what has come in, like late summer when the corn on the cobb comes in. But we usually make special trips to places like Block's, a big farm market, to buy stuff that's in season.
Do you cook more at certain times of the year, or go out more? We don't eat out much, except Friday night "date night" which we plan to keep. DH likes to cook, so he may cook lighter things in the summer than the pasta or beef pot roast, but he still cooks.

During the winter, more soups and chilis, casseroles ~ as much of it being lowfat and healthy
Do you eat differently at different times of the year?
I think so, I tend to eat heavier foods in the winter, but I know I also go out for dessert a lot (dairy queen) in the summer.
Does it depend on what's in stores?
Kind of.
